Sesame from Somalia
- In stock, ready to ship
Somalia is known for its high-quality sesame seeds. We offer a tasty, hulled, and thoroughly tested quality sesame from Som Seed Agri in Mogadishu with a very high purity level (99.98%).
For decades, Somalia has been hit hard by conflict and poverty - and most recently by the worst drought in 40 years, which impacted agriculture severely. But the rain has returned, and so has our sesame from Somalia.
The production of sesame seeds creates jobs and income - both at the factory and for Somali farmers and women.
In collaboration with warfair, Som Seed Agri has become food certified (FSSC).
